David is a 30-time Emmy award-winning branding and creative professional. He’s an accomplished Director, Producer, Editor, Writer and overall creative problem-solver of over 30 years and is currently the Vice-President of Creative Services for the CBS Television stations in Dallas-Fort Worth.

David got his start at his high school in Germantown, TN where he eventually became the student General Manager of GHS-TV, a nationally-recognized television program.
David's professional career began in 1987 at KAIT-TV in Jonesboro, Arkansas, where he was also a graduate of Arkansas State University (BS Comm/RTV 1991). After serving as Creative Services Director for KATV (ABC) in Little Rock and WJLA (ABC) in Washington, DC, David came to Texas to join the CBS family in 2003. While there, he was recognized with many other honors including several Promax Gold statues and the CBS Eye of Excellence award. David was also VP of Creative for Edge Creative in Los Angeles where he created promos for ABC, NBC and CBS networks and distribution.
Today, David continues to be the VP of Creative Services for the CBS Television Stations in Dallas-Fort Worth. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of North Texas where he teaches Media Branding and Promotion; a class and curriculum he created. He also serves on the executive advisory boards of the University of North Texas and Arkansas State University.
When he’s not working, you’ll probably find him driving his 1977 ‘Bandit’ style Pontiac Trans AM down a back road here in Texas and spending time with his family.
David is also co-founder of the world-famous 'Bandit Run', a celebration of the 'Smokey and the Bandit' movies and the cars associated with them. The annual event hits the road every summer and tours various parts of the United States.
